Background
In Thailand, the voices of marginalized groups such as women, youths, and children have historically
been underrepresented in socioeconomic policymaking. The Building Organisations & Local actors
Dialogue (for) – Policy Project (B.O.L.D. – Policy Project) led by Diakonia in collaboration with the
Center for Girls Foundation (CFGF) and The Life Skills Development Foundation (TLSDF), aims
to address this issue.

The B.O.L.D. – Policy Project seeks to empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) by enhancing
their capacity for inclusive and gender-responsive socioeconomic development and governance. By
emphasizing the inclusion of these underrepresented groups in policy dialogues, the project ensures
that their perspectives and needs critically inform the policies that affect their lives, thereby aligning
with global commitments to human rights and gender equality
