As we move forward toward our <strong>28th anniversary<\/strong>, we remain deeply committed to empowering children, strengthening communities, and supporting those who carry the responsibility of protecting children\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we implemented <strong>six core projects<\/strong> in parallel with ongoing advocacy and child-rights activities at local, national, and international levels. None of this work would be possible without the trust and support of our partners and donors, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edwards.com\/gb\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.edwards.com\/gb\">Edwards Lifesciences Foundation<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.daiichisankyo.co.th\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.daiichisankyo.co.th\/\"> Daiichi Sankyo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kindernothilfe.org\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.kindernothilfe.org\/en\/\">KinderNotHilfe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diakonia.se\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.diakonia.se\/en\/\">Diakonia Thailand<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/european-union.europa.eu\/index_en\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/european-union.europa.eu\/index_en\"> the European Union<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crcasia.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.crcasia.org\/\"> CRC Asia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/int.terredeshommes.nl\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/int.terredeshommes.nl\/\">Terre des Hommes Netherlands,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/wwffoundation.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wwffoundation.org\/\">WWF<\/a><\/strong>, and many individual supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Saving Lives Through Access to Heart Surgery<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Pediatric and Family Cardiac Program (PFCP)<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most urgent parts of our work remains ensuring that children and families can access life-saving healthcare. Through our <strong>Pediatric and Family Cardiac Program (PFCP)<\/strong>, we supported <strong>30 underserved heart valve patients<\/strong> to receive the surgery they needed, people who would otherwise not have full access to treatment through Thailand\u2019s health insurance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also brought health services closer to communities by organizing <strong>three mobile screening clinics<\/strong>, reaching <strong>312 people<\/strong> with cardiac health evaluations. Alongside this, we held awareness activities reaching <strong>400 participants<\/strong>, helping families recognize symptoms early and seek care sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"765\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43061\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-4.png 765w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-4-300x112.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-4-18x7.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Empowering Migrant Women and Building Community Strength<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Migrant Women Empowerment for Children\u2019s Health Care and Development Promotion (MWEC)<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, we continued the fourth year of our five-year project supporting migrant women and children in Chiang Mai. Through the <strong>Migrant Women Empowerment for Children\u2019s Health Care and Development Promotion (MWEC)<\/strong> project, we focused on strengthening women\u2019s leadership, economic stability, and their ability to advocate for their children\u2019s education and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We supported <strong>20 active women\u2019s self-help groups<\/strong>, made up of <strong>186 migrant women<\/strong>, who collectively support <strong>213 children<\/strong>. Seventeen groups built strong savings systems, accumulating <strong>1,089,686 THB<\/strong> in community funds. Eight groups expanded into investment-based activities, creating small businesses such as grocery shops and local product production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, we strengthened youth participation by training <strong>82 migrant youth leaders<\/strong>, who then shared their knowledge through peer-to-peer activities, reaching an estimated <strong>12,500 young people<\/strong> across schools and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"769\" height=\"292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43064\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-5.png 769w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-5-300x114.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-5-18x7.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 769px) 100vw, 769px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Protecting Children from Sexual Exploitation and Online Harm<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Stepping Up to Fight Against Sexual Exploitation of Children (SUFASEC)<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Child protection is at the heart of our work, and the <strong>Stepping Up to Fight Against Sexual Exploitation of Children (SUFASEC)<\/strong> project continues to be one of our strongest responses to sexual exploitation of children and online abuse. In 2025, we worked across Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son to strengthen prevention systems in schools, families, and local governance structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we trained <strong>482 youth leaders<\/strong> in reproductive health, sexuality education, and online safety. Through youth-led peer projects, we reached <strong>3,373 children and community members<\/strong>. We also trained <strong>61 teachers<\/strong> to integrate life skills and OCSEA prevention into their teaching and organized <strong>22 workshops<\/strong> for parents and caregivers, reaching <strong>944 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the full project cycle, our online campaigns reached <strong>19,807 views<\/strong>, and we helped establish <strong>six Youth-Friendly Corners<\/strong> in schools, safe spaces where children can seek support, counseling and referrals without fear or stigma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"779\" height=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43066\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-6.png 779w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-6-300x108.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-6-768x276.png 768w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-6-18x6.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 779px) 100vw, 779px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Supporting Youth Advocacy and Policy Change<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Building Organizations &amp; Local Actors Dialogue (for) \u2013 Policy (B.O.L.D.)<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, we continued strengthening youth civic participation through the <strong>Building Organizations &amp; Local Actors Dialogue (for) \u2013 Policy (B.O.L.D.)<\/strong> project, working across <strong>11 sub-districts in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son<\/strong>. We trained <strong>321 youth leaders<\/strong>, and supported <strong>87 participants<\/strong> with advanced training in public speaking, campaigning, and strategic communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also supported the creation of <strong>four Sub-district Children and Youth Councils<\/strong>, and helped youth representatives join district-level structures, ensuring young people are not just participants but decision-makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most significant policy achievements this year was an official directive issued by Thailand\u2019s <strong>Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC)<\/strong>, prohibiting the use of students in online content creation that violates their rights. This was a major step forward in protecting children\u2019s digital privacy and dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"751\" height=\"255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43067\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-7.png 751w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-7-300x102.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-7-18x6.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 751px) 100vw, 751px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Youth Leading Environmental Justice<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Mekong in Balance (MIB) Project<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe children\u2019s rights and environmental rights are inseparable. Through the <strong>Mekong in Balance (MIB) Project<\/strong>, we supported youth leaders to learn, speak up, and take action on climate change and biodiversity protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Youth-led initiatives reached <strong>1,210 peers and community members<\/strong> through creative tools such as educational videos, posters, board games, and community gardens. A major achievement was the publication of <strong>800 copies<\/strong> of the book <em>\u201cWhispers from the Earth,\u201d<\/em> now shared across schools and partner networks to spread awareness of biodiversity and climate justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"766\" height=\"271\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43068\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-8.png 766w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-8-300x106.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rakdek.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-8-18x6.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 766px) 100vw, 766px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Ensuring Legal Identity and Visibility for Migrant Children<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Consultation with Children and Civil Society: Improving Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (MCCRVS)<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For many migrant and marginalized children, being unregistered means being excluded\u2014unable to fully access education, healthcare, and protection. Through our <strong>Consultation with Children and Civil Society: Improving Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (MCCRVS)<\/strong> project, we helped bring children\u2019s voices to national and international policy discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, we supported youth representation from Northern Thailand at the <strong>3rd Ministerial Conference on CRVS<\/strong> in Bangkok, where real stories from affected communities were shared directly with decision-makers. With support from CAF America, we assisted <strong>four migrant students<\/strong> whose families faced extreme hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also organized Children\u2019s Day activities in multiple provinces, reaching hundreds of children and families through playful learning, child rights education, and awareness of online safety, gender diversity, and health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Looking Ahead<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, we saw once again that sustainable change happens when children, families, schools, and communities work together. We are proud of the young leaders, teachers, women\u2019s groups, and partners who stood with us throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>None of our work in 2025 would have been possible without the dedication, trust, and cooperation of our partners, donors, and communities.
